Tekari is an in­ter­act­ive visu­al­iz­a­tion tool for re­flect­ance data, i.e. meas­ure­ments that char­ac­ter­ize the way in which a ma­ter­i­al re­flects light. The phys­ics of this pro­cess de­pend on both view­ing and il­lu­min­a­tion dir­ec­tion as well as wavelength, pro­du­cing a com­plex 5-di­men­sion­al func­tion. Tekari provides an un­pre­ced­en­ted view in­to this data, en­abling fu­ture study of the un­der­ly­ing scat­ter­ing phe­nom­ena and as well as de­fi­cien­cies of cur­rent mod­els.
